Edgeband is becoming more and more important as a design element thanks to the level of detail, which is currently becoming apparent in modern furniture design. We have said goodbye to a time when edgeband had to take a back seat, visually, to the surface – today there is room for rediscovered decoration, the accentuating creative design or bold geometrical shapes – in short: for more individuality.
REHAU is utilising this potential and with its Individual Design Solutions REHAU gives its customers maximum creativity and design freedom. The diverse Inspiration design pool, for which REHAU has recently been developing a range of designs in conjunction with universities and designers, provides ideas and inspires new designs.
Whether it be floral elements that take full advantage of the return of decoration, graphical, geometric or colourful patterns, interweaving in the Asia trend or “pop art” in the popular black and white look – the uniqueness of the designs is what gives them their appeal.
