PE-Xa Pressure Pipes for Drinking Water

Save costs by using our secure drinking water pipes made of RAU-PE-Xa (high pressure crosslinked polyethylen). These pipes are produced in a high-yield process, which was establishedby REHAU already more than 30 years ago.
Drinking water pipes made of RAU-PE-Xa are covered by a blue identification layer made of HDPE. This layer additionally protects the pipe against UV rays. It also allows a visual control of the excoriation in the preparation of the welding connection.

- high notch insensibility at extreme low temperatures
- high flexibilty at low temperatures
- usable up to a permanent temperature of 95°C
- excellent shape retention (memory effect)
- Available dimensions are d = 25 mm upto d = 160 mm SDR 11 for pressures upto 12,5 bar
- Available dimensions are d = 40/50/63/90 mm SDR 7,4 for pressures upto 20 bar
- Standard make-up in 6 m lengths or as coils with 100 m
- Other make-ups, e.g. on drums are available on request
- Connection with standard clamping, screwing or heating spiral welding fittings as far as they are approved by the fitting manufacturer for use with PE-Xa pipes
- Assembly of connection according to general technical guidelines as well as producer specific guidelines
- Butt welding and heating spiral welding according to guideline DVS 2207-1 supplemental sheet 1
