RAUTHERM S and RAUTITAN flex pipes for Sub-Surface Heating and Cooling Systems
PE-Xa pipes supply warm or cooled water to bring comfortable ambience temperautres for rooms, areas, whole buildings or snow melting applications
The REHAU Sub-Surface Heating and Cooling system can generally be used as a central heating system or it may serve in combination with other auxiliary heating systems. This offers a great flexibility in selecting heat output.
By incorporating the flexibility and impact resistance of cross-linked high-density polyethylene (PE-Xa) with a smooth bore design, PE-Xa pipe offers quiet delivery minimizing water hammer and noise attributed to fluctuations in hydraulic pressure. Perfect for the rugged conditions on work site.
Concrete Core Tempering
A thermally stable system – RAUTHERM S / RAUTITAN flex PE-Xa pipes with oxygen barrier coating (acc. to DIN 4726) – transforms the entire floor area into a warm water low temperature radiant heater in case of heating as well as into a slab with gentle coolness in case of cooling mode.
This system can be used in a wide variety of building types and applications in residences, offices, commercial complexes, schools, kindergartens, sports halls, churches, aged care facilities, supermarkets, hospitals, warehouses and factories.
Other applications include projects exposed to the natural elements such as parking garage, entrance ramps, outdoor stairways, stadiums, parking decks, aircraft runways and bridges which must be kept free from snow and ice as well as to be cooled of sun-heated surfaces.
The REHAU compression sleeve jointing technique eliminates leakages and system failures caused by human error and installation workmanship. With specially designed tools, REHAU has built expertise and quality into the system, for installations of any size regardless of the skill level of installers.
